OVERVIEW

Join us for a robust curriculum including didactic lectures, panel discussions and Q&A sessions with experts at HSS and world-renowned guest faculty. Topics will include: Enabling technologies and limitations, optimal surgical techniques and clinical outcomes for degenerative spondylosis L4/5, biologics and regenerative medicine update, motion preservation and SI joint dysfunction including treatment and cervical TDR in the elite athlete.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is targeted to spine surgeons, non-operative spine and sports physicians, and advanced practice providers. Residents, fellows and medical students may also benefit from this activity.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Hospital for Special Surgery Continuing Education activities are intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the latest innovations in enabling technologies in spine surgery, their risks, benefits, and limitations.

  • Discuss surgical techniques for degenerative spondylosis L4/5 and evaluate differences and clinical outcomes.

  • Evaluate current and emerging techniques in spine surgery used to preserve spinal mobility.
