EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Describe the benefit of the cardio-oncology program at a Tertiary Cancer Center and beyond – Dr. Oliveira
- Describe the short and delayed cardiotoxic side effects of cancer treatments – Dr. Ismail-Khan
- Describe strategies for screening and monitoring cancer patients for cardiovascular toxicity before, during, and after cancer treatments – Dr. Alomar
- Outline a multi-D approach to managing cardio-oncology patients using current recommendations to optimize survivorship outcomes – Drs. Ismail-Khan and Alomar
