OVERVIEW
A case-based discussion program on state of the art management of valvular heart disease. The format will involve cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, advanced care providers, and fellows in training presenting and discussing up to 10 cases that span the range of valvular heart disease.
This course has been developed to meet the educational needs of cardiovascular specialists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, fellows, residents, students and other healthcare professionals interested in valvular heart disease.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
- Identify the most appropriate treatment options for patients with valvular heart disease.
- Discuss with patients the options available to them for their particular disease.
- Explain which treatments are guideline-directed and which ones are investigational.
