It turned out the patient's occupation involved several motor vehicle accidents. "“Every time we see a patient with an isolated lesion of the tricuspid valve, we should ask whether they have had any deceleration injury or what type of job they have, because even a simple question can give us great insight into the cause of the problem,” notes cardiologist Dr. Amin Yehya.
