66-year-old woman had an episode of A. Fib 14 months ago associated with pancreatitis.
66-year-old woman had an episode of A. Fib 14 months ago associated with pancreatitis. The ventricular rate was rapid and she was cardioverted. Dronedarone, verapamil and aspirin were prescribed. She has had no further episodes and is wondering whether she still needs to take medications.
PMH: Hypertension
FH: Father with A. Fib
Medications: Dronedarone 400 mg bid; verapamil SR 120 mg QD; aspirin 81 mg QD; lisinopril
Physical exam: Normal
ECG: Sinus rhythm 62/min; PR 220 ms; QT 410 ms; incomplete RBBB
ECHO: LVEF 65%; LA 3.7 cm; no LVH
