Treating AVN of the Hip

24 yr old man, history of Rheumatoid Arthritis, treated by oral steroids and methotrexate, develops right hip pain one year later. History of heavy alcohol intake. significant symptoms of hip pain with a limp and shortening. -Xrays reveal advanced AVN right femoral head with collapse and femoral head deformation. Would he be a candidate for THR, Resurfacing? (femoral head collapse, AVN), Hemiarthroplasty? (RA) or would still some hip salvage kind of procedure be done in spite of femoral head collapse?
