43 year old male with dislocated lateral meniscus after tibial plateau fractures

By Vladimir Harhaji

Male, 43 yo, sustained Schatzker VI tibial plateau fracture, treated with Ilizarov aparatus. MRI 5 months after fracture shows lot of stuff and dislocated lateral meniscus probably due to malposition of lateral tibial condyle. Yet no pain in lateral compartment. According to literature this could lead to fast chondral degeneration.
