This prospective examination into the success of cementless, tri-compartmental knee arthroplasty concluded that initial findings about the future of this oft-maligned practice are promising. At a mean follow-up of 36 months for 114 cementless, periapatite-coated single-radius PS implants, initial clinical and radiographic results show stable fixation with no evidence of loosening, osteolysis, stress shielding, or progressive radiolucent lines.

Question: Given some of the conservative benefits of cementless fixation i.e. preservation of bone stock, are the early results from this study enough impetus for you to begin considering cementless TKA?
