Boot Camp is designed for first-year cardiology fellows. This intense training follows the guiding principles of “Teach broadly. Teach early. Teach basics.”

TARGETED AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for first-year cardiac surgery and incoming cardiology fellows, cardiac anesthesiology fellows.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

• Practice common techniques
• Recognize various devices
• Consolidate both anatomy and exposure techniques and skills
• Understand specialty specific training in vascular surgery, interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery and cardiothoracic anesthesiology
