The LSRS Annual Meeting is purely for scientific presentations and debate. The society takes great pride in existing free of industry support and influence with no sponsorship or commercial displays.

Our Instructional Course Lecture is April 3, 2019 from 3 - 7 PM in Chicago, IL (Preceding the Annual Meeting). 
Course title:
"The Evolving Landscape of Spine Surgery: Considerations on Technology, Aging Patients, and Outpatient Surgery." 

Content includes:

  • Intraoperative Surgical Guidance: Flouroscopy vs. Neuronavigation vs. Robotics
  • Spine Surgery for Elderly Patients: Panel Discussion
  • Adding an ASC to Your Spine Practice.

Objectives:
Provide evidence-based recommendations and instruction for intraoperative surgical guidance.
Discuss outcome measures in determining quality and effectiveness in lumbar spine surgery in elderly patients.
Provide a comprehensive overview and expertise on performing lumbar spine surgery in an ambulatory surgery center.
