Please join us for the 2022 28th Annual Tampa Shoulder Course: Arthroplasty & Sports, Thursday, February 10, 2022  - February 12, 2022 , in Tampa, Florida, at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street .

This course is designed to provide orthopaedic surgeons with advanced and  comprehensive training for the diagnosis adn teratment of various shoulder adn elbow conditions including conservative care, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and fracture management. The interactive course format will include a diverse comination of lectures, hands-on workshops, live surgeries, debates, case presentations and panel dicussions.

In addition, we will hold a full-day bioskills lab on Thursday, February 10, 2022 (seperate regsitration fee). This session will provide attendees with the opportunity to observe step-by-step surgical demonstrations and then practicethe skills they've learned during the hands-on portion of the lab.

TARGETED AUDIENCE

Orthopaedic Surgeons, fellows, residents, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes shoulder and elbow surgery.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply innovative methods of assessment and management to various shoulder & elbow disorders
  • Applycurrent concepts to total elbow arthroplasty
  • Consider the post-operative complications and outcomes following anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Identify humeral and glenoid bone loss and develop strategies to manage it as it relates to anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Develop strategies for the treatment of shoulder instability
  • Assess the options for the treatment of massive rotator cuff tears

ACCREDITATION

The Foundation for Orthopaedic Research & Education (FORE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

FORE designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
