Event info

I am honored to present the tenth annual Practical Symposium in Beaver Creek, Colorado.  With improved COVID vaccination rates, evolving treatment options, and new cases on the decline, we will be hosting an in-person meeting for 2023.

Our conference emphasizes real-world dermatologic topics and practical applications for dermatologic physicians and clinicians.  In addition, each topic includes a clinicopathologic component designed to strengthen your diagnostic communications with your dermatopathologist(s).  Based on the popularity of the CME hike, we plan to expand our educational activities for those who desire to learn while enjoying the great outdoors.  Also, the symposium agenda allows numerous networking opportunities between attendees, faculty, and industry partners.

The symposium is an excellent fit for dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, dermatopathologists, pathologists, and physician extenders who seek to deepen their dermatologic knowledge base. Also, industry research physicians attending will better understand their companies’ roles within the dermatology specialty. Our self-paced slide exam assists residents, fellows, and physicians in preparing for the certification or re-certification exam. Approximately 25 CME hours and 50+ MOC credits will be available to be earned for all registered attendees.

The symposium offers sessions in the morning and early evenings, allowing ample free time to enjoy the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains, which are truly spectacular in the summer. I look forward to seeing you in Beaver Creek and sharing a weekend of learning, networking, and socializing.

With my best personal regards,

Clay J. Cockerell
