Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

• Summarize current research and best practices in analysis and decision-making in the management of adolescent and adult spinal deformity.
• Describe step-by-step treatment options for optimal outcomes for mid-cervical kyphosis; adult degenerative scoliosis; rigid dropped-head syndrome; cervical thoracic PJK; and complication revision surgeries.
• Discuss post-op considerations and complications avoidance in the surgical management of spinal deformity.
