Please join us for the 2021 9th Annual ICJR South Hip & Knee Course , Thursday, April 15, 2021  - April 17, 2021 , in Key Largo, Florida, at the Ocean Reef Club. 

We have added a Virtual Attendee option to allow physicians, allied health professionals, fellows, residents, and/or non-sponsoring industry representatives to participate in this course should attending in person not work for their schedules.

TARGETED AUDIENCE

Orthopaedic surgeons, fellows, residents, and other orthopaedic healthcare professionals who are engaged in the management of patients with hip and knee pathology.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss potential advantages, disadvantages, implementation strategies, and techniques for outpatient total joint arthroplasty.
  • Identify and compare different THA and TKA surgical techniques as well as joint preservation options for the hip joint.
  • Identify considerations for pre- and post-operative care to support optimal patient outcomes and reduce length of stay for hip and knee joint replacement procedures, including pain management and other supportive care strategies.
  • Evaluate and compare different options for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infection.
  • Review challenges and potential strategies regarding practice efficiency and patient management issues faced by today's orthopaedic surgeon.
  • Identify, assess, and compare surgical approaches, tools, and techniques for THA and TKA procedures.
  • Assess and evaluate the perioperative issues and potential complications associated with THA and TKA.
  • Review and discuss current economic and legal trends in healthcare and their potential effects on total-joint surgeons’ practices.
  • Identify strategies and techniques for the prevention of complications and evaluate solutions if complications associated with TKA and THA occur.
