HSS faculty will present evidence-based techniques and management strategies for these injuries such as blood flow restriction and load resistance. They’ll also discuss when referral to a specialist may be needed, and if surgical intervention is necessary.

This activity is targeted to primary care physicians, physical therapy professionals, and athletic trainers.

  • Describe how to assess orthopaedic conditions of the knee and hip commonly encountered in practice.

  • Recognize when referral to a specialist is indicated and if surgical intervention is necessary.
