The purpose of the symposium is to gather and present the current controversies surrounding acute coronary syndromes and discuss future areas for advancement and investigation through case-based discussions.
Objectives
Upon completion, the participant should be able to:
- Understand the current state of STEMI
- Assess what to do when a patient is in cardiogenic shock
- Assess rhythm or perfusion first
- Describe the implications of multivessel coronary disease in ACS
- Interpret what “everything” means when a family says the want everything done and other palliative care issues of ACS
