Dr. Colin Harris is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery. He has over 10 years of practice experience and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School as well as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Neurosurgery at SUNY-Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex and revision spine surgery, spine trauma, and the management of scoliosis and kyphosis. A graduate of Columbia University, New York Medical College, and the Rutgers-UMDNJ orthopedic residency program where he was named administrative chief resident, Dr. Harris completed additional spine fellowship training at Rush University in Chicago, IL, one of the top fellowship programs in the nation. He has consistently been named a New Jersey Monthly Magazine Top Doctor in New Jersey by his peers and has been active in teaching spine surgery to residents and medical students. He has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters as well as lectured extensively on the topic of spine surgery. He has specific interests in the adoption of minimally invasive surgical techniques to spinal deformity correction as well as the use of image navigation and robotics in spine surgery.
