2019 Hematology and Medical Oncology Review aims to disseminate state-of-the-art information from several major national meetings that have occurred within the last year including the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABC) the American Society of Hematology Review (ASH). 
Our nationally and internationally known speakers will promote education and facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to physicians and other professionals caring for patients with cancer. Crucial data will be delivered for integration into clinical practice regarding hematological malignancies and the management of breast, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal, genitourinary cancers.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This symposium is designed for practicing medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, hematologists, oncology nurses and other clinicians in the region.

OBJECTIVES

  • Report on new information and advances regarding breast cancer diagnosis and treatment from the national ASCO 2019 meeting.
  • Evaluate the latest advances in the management of gastrointestinal tract malignancies.
  • Review the results of the trial using checkpoint inhibitors in urothelial cancer.
  • Discuss recent data on immunotherapy and compare with other treatments for incurable head and neck cancer.
  • Review new data on HPV related cancer treatment.
  • Review the results of recent immunotherapy clinical studies in lung cancer.
  • Review updates on thyroid and salivary gland malignancies.
