Course Objectives

This course is intended for surgeons who have conducted a minimum of 30 Hip Scope or Hip Preservation cases.  Under the direction of course faculty, surgeon attendees will:

• Gain understanding in diagnosis and key surgical decision making for pre-arthritic hip disease

•  Learn technical pearls for arthroscopic, open and minimally invasive preservation procedures

•  Perform various surgical techniques including hip arthroscopy, surgical dislocation, core decompression, periacetabular osteotomy and closed de-rotational osteotomy
