OVERVIEW

This one-day symposium will use case-based discussions to promote the understanding of recent technologies for the treatment of mitral, tricuspid, or aortic valve disease. The program will highlight patients’ characteristics that qualify them to benefit from these technologies.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical students and other medical care providers who are interested in this medical care.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this symposium, participants should be able to

  • Discuss the mechanisms by which mitral clip and TAVR valves improve maladies of mitral, tricuspid, and aortic valves
  • Discuss how to recognize potential benefiting patients for the new technologies
