Surgical, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Attending’s, Residents, Fellows, Faculty, ARNPs, RNs, PAs, and other Professional Staff.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Describe the National Lung Cancer Screening Trial, NELSON study, and TALENT study
  • Review the different recommendations for lung cancer screening
  • Discuss the impacts of lung cancer screening on survival rates 
  • Identify high risk individuals that are appropriate referral’s for LCS Program
  • Outline the recommendations for lung nodule follow up
  • Assess the role of molecular markers
