Identified Practice Gaps/Educational Needs

Minimally invasive cranial neurosurgery is developing rapidly, and the newest advanced techniques are often not understood. Moreover, the technology employed is complex and there are competing devices that need to be compared. The attendee will learn not only the indications and utility of each of these new minimally invasive approaches but also how to choose the most appropriate technology to implement these techniques at their institution. We will be teaching how to perform the various approaches – keyhole, endonasal, laser, robotic, and tubal – using didactic sessions and cadaver dissection.
