Dr. Daniel Harrington is a fellowship-trained, board-certified sports medicine physician at Atlantic Medical Group Orthopedics at New Providence. He is also board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine, and is an expert in the diagnosis and management of nonsurgical orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including fractures, sprains/strains, tendinopathy, nerve entrapment, arthritis and sports-related concussions. He has extensive training in interventional ultrasound. Following graduation from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he served as chief resident at University Hospitals St. John Medical Center, then completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and served as team physician for Kent State University, Oberlin College, the NFL’s Cleveland Browns and the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters. He serves as team and school physician for Newark Academy and team physician for Union County College.
