Join ASNC for 2.5 days for the most recent advances in SPECT and PET imaging, providing practical insights into running an efficient and productive nuclear cardiology laboratory. The case-based approach to disease management equips participants to demonstrate the value of nuclear cardiology to their administrators and referring physicians. Come early Apr. 12 to attend the Cardiac Amyloidosis Workshop.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Describe recent advances in cardiac single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) acquisition, processing and interpretation, and how they impact clinical practice
  • Define ways to avoid image artifacts with SPECT imaging
  • Characterize non-imaging abnormalities associated with pharmacologic stress testing
  • Summarize recent advances in positron emission tomography (PET) technology
  • Differentiate CTFFR from PET with myocardial blood flow
  • Employ optimal methodology to interpret and report nuclear cardiology studies
  • Determine the impact of MACRA/MIPS on value-based care
  • Evaluate the role of coronary calcium scoring in managing patients with CAD
  • Compare and contrast the roles of anatomic and physiologic imaging in patients with CAD
  • Integrate appropriate use criteria into test decision process

Target Audience
Nuclear cardiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, multimodality imagers, radiologists, and imaging technologists

Course will provide *19.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and 19.25 ABIM MOC points to physicians, and *17.5 ARRT Category A credits to technologists.
