OVERVIEW

Stroke
This course will provide a comprehensive update on the evaluation and acute and long-term management of ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, vascular malformations, and other cerebrovascular conditions. Both established and emerging management strategies will be addressed by experts in this course. Discussion time will allow attendees to have their questions answered. In addition, several case discussions and debates will highlight considerations for decision-making in the acute stroke patient.

Neurology
This comprehensive, one-day course will provide a focused, complete and advanced update for Clinical Neurology cross subspecialties. Using a clinical case or video-based format. Both established and emerging therapies and diagnostic approaches will be addressed by the expert lectures and panelists/discussants in this course. It will also augment learning by providing visual teaching materials. Evaluation of common as well as more rare disorders in Neurology will be covered by the diverse and knowledgeable course faculty from the rapidly growing NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department of Neurology. Contemporary issues, such as telehealth and overcoming systemic barriers and healthcare disparities will be addressed.
