STATEMENT OF NEED

Innovation in spine surgery is universal endeavor, yet controversy exists as to which approaches are best and when they are most appropriate. The HSS Spine Service will host the David B. Levine, MD, HSS Spine Symposium 2019: Spine Surgery and Innovation: The Next 10 Years, to navigate the evolving field of spine surgery through didactic lectures, panel discussions, case presentations, debates, and Q&A sessions. The HSS Spine Service is a recognized world leader in the management of complex spinal deformities in adults and children, and performs more spine surgeries than any other top national hospital.
