The Ruesch Symposium brings together an audience of clinicians, researchers, patients, caregivers, policymakers and representatives from industry. The Symposium provides a unique forum for discussion, networking and debate of critical issues related to GI cancers.
The Ruesch Center for the Cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers will hold its tenth annual symposium divided into three parts.
Part 1: Innovations in GI Cancer
A unique forum for discussions on cutting-edge research, and the pipeline of promising new therapies and technologies in GI cancers. Topics include the emerging role of the microbiome, the expanding role of immune therapy in GI Cancer and innovative approaches to localized treatment of GI Cancers.
Part 2: Vital Conversations for the Oncology Nurse & APP
This half-day conference for oncology advanced practice providers and oncology nurses will address complex topics and help you increase your knowledge and strengthen conversations with your patients.
Part 3: Patient Symposium
The Patient Symposium will provide patients and families with disease-specific information, education, and tools for managing their cancer care. Promising emerging therapeutic approaches will be examined and discussion encouraged.
