OVERVIEW

Advancements in congenital heart disease care have led to astounding improvements in survival rates and quality of life in adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD). Parallel to the success in care of ACHD patients, there is a growing demand to educate and train providers on the specialized approach to management of the ACHD patient. The NYU Langone ACHD team is proud to educate the provider community on the newest innovations in the field of ACHD. This year we will focus on unique and challenging topics in the ACHD population. We will bring thought leaders in the field to join the NYU ACHD faculty to discuss topics such as transcutaneous valve interventions, sudden cardiac death risk, diagnosing and caring for anomalous coronaries, aortopathies as well as reviewing the most up-to-date society guidelines and latest medications in the field. On behalf of the NYU Langone Health Adult Congenital Heart Disease program, we invite you to partake in this unique virtual full-day opportunity!

  4. Identify appropriate patients where shunt closure may be of benefit and safe
