The global epidemic of metabolic syndrome, a constellation of cardiometabolic risk factors, and that of obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, chronic kidney disease, and cardiovascular disease is showing no signs of slowing down. We are learning more about the continuum of these risk factors and diseases, but the majority of them are still treated as separate entities.

There is no doubt that clinicians now have more tools at their disposal to address these problems simultaneously, including drugs that span the domains of diabetes, cardiology, and nephrology. However, the question remains as to how these advances will be applied to practice, and whether we are really blurring the lines to deliver the multidisciplinary care needed to improve outcomes in cardiometabolic medicine. During this engaging and interactive meeting, you will have a chance to hear from and interact with experts across specialties on the current state of affairs and advances in cardiometabolic disease, including cardio-renal risk reduction, obesity management, team based-care, telemedicine, and much more.

CMHC Live Online is a series of CME/CE live and archived online learning events directly connecting attendees to the foremost experts in cardiometabolic health from the setting of their choosing. Through an interactive and easy-to-navigate online format, CMHC Live Online will provide the opportunity to join world-renowned clinical practitioners, researchers, and educators in taking deep investigative dive into the latest knowledge in cardiometabolic health available.

Plus, CMHC Live Online will be recorded and archived for one year, providing attendees that participated in the livestream with opportunities to revisit the sessions, as well as those unable to attend the livestream with the option to watch the archived sessions and receive credit for up to one year.
