SuperPath® Instructional with Intraoperative Q&A
presented by MicroPort Orthopedics
Dr. Chow will be conducting THA using the SuperPath® technique with Dr. Grandic moderating the event. Intraoperative questions will be received from both the VuMedi audience, and participants at the State of the Art Solutions in Hip & Knee Reconstruction Didactic Course in Chicago, IL hosted by MicroPort Orthopedics.
SuperPath® is a tissue sparing, posterior, THA technique that is designed to reduce post-operative pain, eliminate patient restrictions, and reduce hospital stay. SuperPath® uniquely preserves the integrity of the capsule by in situ head extraction rather than traditional dislocation. Additionally, a cannula provides excellent visibility while avoiding soft tissue releases. The technique merges SUPERCAP®, a femoral preparation technique, and PATH®, a microposterior approach.
Live THA using the SuperPath®Techinque

He has published his experiences using this technique, and continues to present his findings internationally.
