23 y.o. Male with Boutonniere Deformity

By Michael Marsalli 12 Videos

23 years old male, rugby player. Dec 2011 had a ring finger PIJ dislocation. He presented a Boutonnière deformity on his follow up. Had a soft tissue surgery protected with K-wires for 6 weeks. He comes up for a solution because he is not satisfied with the results. Exam: PIJ ext -20°, flex 30°, 10° of free movement, only little pain and a radial deviation. He would like better function and hopefully continue playing. Any suggestions?
