Welcome to ITMIG2023!

We would like to cordially invite you to  the 13th Annual Meeting of the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG 2023) taking place at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, USA from October 4-6, 2023.

ITMIG is a multidisciplinary society focused on the science, clinical care, research, and advancement of treatments for thymic malignancies. And just as New York singer Billy Joel in his song "A New York State of Mind" could not imagine existing outside his beloved city, ITMIG could not exist without the multidisciplinary cooperation of its members, thus "A Multidisciplinary State of Mind" is the motto of our conference in 2023!

We invite thoracic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, neurologists, immunologists, nurses, patients, and trainees of all specialties to join us for 2 days of engaged exchange on the newest developments on thymic tumors.

In the Scientific Program on October 4 to 5, 2023, we will have sessions on multidisciplinary care of patients, state of the art lectures, discussion forums on challenging clinical scenarios, research topics at the forefront of each specialty, junior investigator sessions, patient-centered sessions, oral and poster abstract session, specialty workshops and more. On Friday, October 6, 2023, we will hold committee meetings to which any participants who are interested in getting more involved with ITMIG activities are cordially invited. You will find a preliminary program on the ITMIG website. Check back for regular updates and refinement of the program!

We also invite you to join us for social and fun activities that we plan to do together, including city tours, a fun run, and ITMIG dinner amongst others.

We hope that you will join us from all over the world in October 2023 to meet colleagues and friends, advance the field of thymic malignancies, and take advantage to explore New York with all that the city has to offer, great food scene, top cultural and sports events, museums, fall foliage to name a few.
