TARGET AUDIENCE

The intended audience for this conference includes specialists in gastroenterology. Residents, fellows, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, endoscopy nurses, gastroenterology nurses, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Describe current and new modalities in the diagnosis and management of commonly encountered diagnoses in gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Utilize evidence-based medicine and updated clinical guidelines in the care of patients in gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Discuss ways to deliver high quality care in both clinical and endoscopic decision making in caring for patients with gastrointestinal diseases to improve both short and long-term patient outcomes
