OVERVIEW
The Castellvi Spine Symposium is designed for surgeons and non-operative clinicians with specific interest in disorders of the spine. Distinguished faculty will present the latest advances in the field. Topics covered will include stem cell therapy, complex reconstruction, artificial disc replacement, use of biologics, spine biomechanics, management of complications, treatment modalities for osteoporosis, and emerging technologies.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, fellows, residents, and medical professionals whose scope of practice includes spine.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Assess and Critique emerging techniques in comparison to current treatment options
- Discuss adult deformity and complications
- Understand the use of lumbar techniques in spine surgery
- Employ useful surgical techniques in total disc replacement surgery
