OVERVIEW
The AHN Stroke Symposium is designed to provide education on current, evidence-based practice knowledge across the continuum of stroke care.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This annual event is aimed at assisting with educational requirements for nurses, providers, therapists, and other health care professionals who care for stroke patients. A variety of educational methods will be used by a faculty of experts during this conference.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Describe pathophysiology , diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular dissections.
• Discuss Tips and Tricks to achieving DTN in 30 min. utilizing Telestroke.
• Applying best practice in treating ICH patients.
• Discuss the evidence based practice in treating dysphagia
• Review innovative advances in neuroimaging related to stroke care.
• Identify stroke by location.
• Review Thrombolytic updates.
• Review and discuss updates in strokes.
