OVERVIEW
The Tampa Shoulder Course: Arthroplasty & Sports will provide advanced training on the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex shoulder and elbow conditions. Through a mix of didactic presentations, debates, and case-based panel discussions, the expert faculty will share their insights on surgical and non-surgical management options for patients with glenohumeral osteoarthritis, instability with and without bone loss, proximal humerus fractures, massive rotator cuff tears, recurrent dislocations, and more.
New for 2023: Technical Tips Thursday: Get game-changing surgical pearls from our renowned faculty with 18 Technical Tips sessions in the morning, then participate in a hands-on bioskills session highlighting arthroplasty techniques in the afternoon (separate fee for the lab).

Orthopaedic surgeons, fellows, residents, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes management of shoulder and elbow conditions and injuries.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
- Apply innovative methods of assessment and management to various shoulder and elbow disorders
- Apply current concepts when performing total elbow arthroplasty
- Consider postoperative complications and outcomes for anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty
- Identify humeral and glenoid bone loss in patients undergoing anatomic or reverse shoulder arthroplasty and develop strategies to manage this issue during surgery
- Develop strategies for the treatment of shoulder instability
- Assess the options for the treatment of massive rotator cuff tears
