OVERVIEW

Following the big success of our World Stroke Academy webinar on “Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy: State of the Art Diagnosis”, this activity will focus on CAA and Afib in regards to anticoagulation, a burning question in the field of CAA and ICH, since the clinician is faced with fine balancing future ischemic vs. haemorrhagic stroke in a high risk population with limited evidence. A pragmatic webinar that will frame this question on the right clinical basis, review/summarise the evidence on the topic and provide a framework to help clinicians in their routine practice.

Topics:

  • Restarting oral anticoagulation after intracerebral haemorrhage
  • Left atrial appendage occlusion: evidence and application in cerebral amyloid angiopathy
  • Putting it all together: a pragmatic management approach for CAA and Afib

4 PM CET on 21st June 2022
