This innovative symposium combines classroom instruction with a live demonstration using state-of-the-art 3D-printed models created from scans of actual patients. The workshop, all conducted via Zoom, will provide neurosurgeons and plastic surgeons unique access to observe fronto-orbital advancement for the repair of unilateral coronal synostosis and advanced endoscopic techniques for the repair of metopic and sagittal craniosynostosis.
Educational Objectives
By the conclusion of this activity, participants should have acquired:
- enhanced knowledge regarding the diagnosis and treatment options for syndromic and non-syndromic synostosis
- familiarity with the technical skills required for the surgical approach and tools used for open cranial vault remodeling
- familiarity with the technical skills required the surgical approach and tools used for endoscopic craniectomy
Target Audience
This CME course is intended for physicians and physician assistants in neurosurgery, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, neurology, and pediatrics.
