Despite what many might think, all roads lead to Paris, not Rome. This is certainly the case from 23-24 October 2019, when the Global Congress on Prostate Cancer (PROSCA) takes place. Over the years this educational event has built a strong reputation in creating the perfect setting for optimal knowledge transfer by bringing together international top experts from different disciplines and stimulating discussions and interactions.

The landscape of prostate cancer is continuously evolving, affecting every step in the patient’s journey from diagnosis to treatment.  It’s hard to stay up-to-date, and even harder to translate all these changes to your daily patient care.

Because that is what is most important in the end: how can you ensure the best care for your patient? This is what the new PROSCA-format is all about. Keynote speakers address the major clinical advances relevant for your practice, patient case discussions directly translate the new developments to your practice. The result? In only two days, you’ll be fully updated on prostate cancer. That’s good for you, and for your patient.

CME Accreditation

The Global Congress on Prostate Cancer 2019 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 13 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
