PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This inaugural program teaches cardiovascular imaging and interventional techniques in an intensive hands-on setting. Participants practice techniques including 3D planning using CT/MR image datasets, intraoperative image fusion and 3D image acquisition for interventional guidance. By the end of the program, participants should be able to apply these imaging and image guidance techniques to specific interventional/surgical procedures in order to improve their clinical practice. The course is designed for cardiovascular interventionalists interested in advanced imaging techniques.

Physicians
Houston Methodist is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Houston Methodist designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses
Houston Methodist is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association – Approver, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
