OVERVIEW

The Maine Orthopaedic Review has provided orthopaedic board preparation continually since 1959. It presents a unique opportunity for study and review for residents, board candidates, and practicing orthopaedists looking toward recertification. The course is a comprehensive review with strong sections in pediatric orthopaedics, trauma, adult reconstruction, spine, basic science, orthopaedic oncology, hand and upper extremity, and sports medicine. Our faculty are well-known subspecialists with national and international appointments.

For 2022, MOR is collaborating with Hospital For Special Surgery, HSS, to enhance lectures.

Sub-specialty faculty from HSS will work with MOR faculty to add content and direct links to material required to be fully prepared for the exam. See our website for complete scedule and list of faculty.

For 2022 Part II, all of your cases will be reviewed, some multiple times, with multiple faculty.  You will have the opportunity to sit in on other presentations and ask questions.  As always, our faculty are 100% committed to making sure you are prepared to be successful.

The Maine Orthopaedic Review has an extensive online question bank with over 11,000 review questions, linked to our proprietary library of board preparation materials. Our tests are now customizable to adapt to individual learning styles and needs. Spend time in a setting going over questions like the ones you will see on the written boards. The Qbank will be available from June 20th through the date of the exam, July 14th both on campus and remotely.
