Telehealth has become an effective, efficient, and safe way to see diabetes patients during COVID, however it is here to stay for the long-term. We’ve assembled a group of expert faculty who have mastered the art of video visits and will take a deep dive into different telehealth methods you can implement to keep up with your patients even in the post-COVID period.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss the importance of telemedicine and its rapid evolution pre- and post-COVID 19
  • Identify common problems with integrating telemedicine into clinical practice and solutions for overcoming these
  • Discuss techniques for optimizing diabetes telemedicine clinic visits with a focus on obtaining clinical data including meter, CGM, and insulin pump downloads

This course is designed for diabetes healthcare providers including endocrinologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, certified diabetes educators, pharmacists, registered dieticians, and other healthcare providers wanting to expand their knowledge of diabetes management.
