OVERVIEW

The Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute is offering a comprehensive two-day course on advanced topics in pulmonary medicine. The course is specifically designed for pulmonologists, advanced practice providers, as well as primary care physicians. The course syllabus covers a wide range of subjects, including current diagnostic and treatment strategies for interstitial lung disease, COPD, asthma, lung cancer, bronchiectasis, and respiratory failure. Renowned experts will delve into the recent advances in oral therapies for ILD, as well as advancements in pulmonary hypertension, asthma, and COPD. An esteemed keynote speaker will deliver a state-of-the-art lecture on current and future perspectives of pulmonary medicine. To enhance practical skills, there will be workshops focusing on patient access, point-of-care diagnostics for sleep apnea, and remote patient monitoring.

  17. Discuss the CHEST Guidelines on the workup and treatment of chronic cough
  18. Explain the phenotypes of high lung cancer risk and importance of CT screening
  19. Describe diseases of the trachea and advances in diagnosis and treatment
