Course Description

This version of the Rush neurology Therapeutics and Management Updates will bring to you state of the art management of multiple neurologic conditions including Stroke, Neuromuscular disorders, Epilepsy, Neuropsychiatric disorders, Movement disorders, Neocritical care, Headache, Multiple sclerosis and Neuroimmunology. A Highlight of the program will include a discussion about current controversies in the treatment of Dementia. Short and practical lectures will include self-assessment  questions with life feedback. Sessions will be followed by expert panel discussions and live interactions with attendees. This year, in addition to CME credits, eligible attendees will be able to claim ABPN self-assessment CME credits.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the state of the art practices and evidence based treatment for common neurologic disorders including: stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, headaches and multiple sclerosis.
  • Describe the indications and controversies and use of novel therapeutics in the areas of dementia, neuromuscular and movement disorders.
  • Review the management of common psychiatric and neuro-psychiatric disorders frequently seen in patients with neurologic disorders.
  • Discuss the management of autoimmune neurologic disorders and neurologic complications of COVID-19.
