Trauma care has evolved over the past four decades to become the model for creating programs for emergency care of many critical illnesses. Providing effective care of the injured takes a significant commitment on the part of both trauma centers and trauma teams. The 2019 San Diego Day of Trauma will review the importance of building an effective team in order to provide the best possible care for patients with life threatening injuries.

Nationally renowned speakers will present state of the art interventions for emergencies commonly encountered in the field. Conference speakers will include specialists in the fields of pre-hospital care, trauma surgery, and critical care. Lectures, real-life case presentations, and interactive sessions will engage attendees and promote improved patient outcomes.
