The 3rd Annual South Florida Neurosciences Symposium is a 2-day virtual educational program designed for physicians, advanced practitioners, allied health professionals, researchers and students on the evaluation, management, and treatment of neurodegenerative disease and pain. We anticipate 150 attendees. 

The mission of the Neuroscience Institute at Holy Cross Health is to promote advanced clinical care and foster high-quality clinical research in various neurological patient populations. We are committed to providing cutting-edge treatments for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis with state-of-the-art diagnostics, while promoting overall wellbeing by offering innovative health care services to all patients entering our doors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Identificatin of clinical syndromes and understanding of diagnostic considerations
• Development of awareness of clinical management of neurodegenerative disease and pain
• Identification of resources available to support patients and caregivers
• Discussion of new and proven therapies for neurodegenerative diseases
• Discussion of novel therapeutic targets with a focus on neuro inflammation across neurodegenerative diseases
