This event is offered both in-person and virtual.

The purpose of this program is to recognize the scientific advancements and progress that global, regional, and national champions have made in cardiovascular, stroke, and surgical care over the past decade. The event will highlight the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology Mission Thrombectomy Program and encourage multisectoral actions to reduce the global burden of non-communicable diseases and achieve the World Health Organization 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Moreover, the event aims to acknowledge the unwavering commitment of Member States towards prioritizing vulnerable people through their national strategies and new resolutions. The event presents a unique opportunity to foster continued and expanded collaboration and partnership among governments, multilateral institutions, and civil society, which could facilitate further scaling this life-saving work.
