A male patient had got a Sanders IIB fracture after fall from a small height. ... read more ↘ There was a large lateral displacement of the calcaneal tuber, and the lateral articular fragment turned 90 degrees. The surgery was performed through sinus tarsi approach during traction in traction device. After unstucking of the articular fragments reduction of the tuber took place. Osteosynthesis was performed with subchondral lag screws and two thick supporting screws. This case demonstrates the ease of the reduction during the first days (less than a week passed after injury).
