The Nuts & Bolts of Food Allergy: Diagnosis and Management

May 29, 2024

Lecturer: Amanda Michaud, DMSc, PA-C

Amanda will discuss how to properly diagnose food allergy. She opens her lecture with a shocking statement, informing her viewers that she and her colleagues spend more time "undiagnosing" food allergy as compared to diagnosing this condition. Amanda will help you to know what tests to use (and not to use) to properly diagnose food allergy, how to formulate an allergy management plan, and of course she will share new and emerging treatments for IgE-mediated food allergies.

Amanda is the PA Medical Liaison to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, The Vice Chair, Allied Health Committee, Americal College of Asthma & Immunology, and CME Char, Associate of PA's in Allergy & Immunology.
