Target Audience: Physicians, residents and trainees, fellows, nurses, surgical techs, physical therapists, and other members of the allied health community whose scope of practice encompasses Orthopaedics.

Course Description: In this live webinar, expert Pediatric, Sports Medicine, Shoulder/Elbow, Sports Medicine & MSK will present optimal operable techniques and treatment options to address PRISM Presents...Management of Adolescent ACL Injuries: Treatment Outside of the Operating Room. The webinar features time for interactive audience discussion and surgical case based scenarios.

Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Discuss and understand the concept of prevention training to reduce the rate of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in adolescent athletes.
  2. Define the preoperative management of adolescent athletes with ACL injuries.
  3. Define the types and role of postoperative therapy needed after ACL reconstruction in adolescent athletes.
  4. Discuss and understand the criteria for adolescent athletes to return to sporting activities after undergoing ACL reconstruction.

Credits: This lecture qualifies for 2 CME credit hours.
